Nadia was an Olympic gymnastic who won an Olympic gold medal.

She grew up in a modest home for simple parents who had no real connection to the sport. She is undoubtedly one of the greatest gymnasts of all time in a sport where there is no room for compromise. Ground gymnastics and instruments are one of the most demanding sports there is, and it requires many hours of day-to-day training from those who want to reach the highest levels, like gymnastics. Already at the age of 9 Nadia participated in the first major tournament in the career, the Romanian championship!

The world soon discovered that, at the age of 13, the age at which young soccer players from the youth group played, she won the European Championship in first place and four gold medals. One of her toughest challenges was her exhausting training twice a day for six hours!!!
At the Munich Olympics the audience was amazed that Nadia had made the exercise not only technically perfect. She ascended to perfection. “No better than that,” said the announcer in excited English. During the Olympics, Nadia added another six perfect marks, more than any athlete or athlete at any Olympics. Nadia soon received the honor of being awarded the title of “Heroine of the Socialist Workers’ Class,” the youngest ever to receive the prize. She was training for her second European Championship in 1977, and she tells how hard it was to cope with fame, the whole world followed her every move. She won first place in the European Championship, with gold in parallel and in much battle, and money in the jumping horse. But the same release and natural freedom she had in the Olympics became an effort for her, to deflect thoughts and feelings and to concentrate on the task.
