One nice spring morning, the bee Juju woke up from its hibernation and decided to go for a walk. Its stomach was empty and it had to look for nectar from the blossoming flowers.

Flying across fields and meadows it saw a rose bush in a garden.

“Please, sweet rose, give some nectar to a hungry bee!”

“I’m sorry, come back in a few days, it’s too early for me to blossom.

Juju walked away and saw a peony.

“I’m very hungry, do you have any nectar for me?”

“I’m sorry, my blossoms are still hidden in the buds. Come back in a few days.”

The bee got sad. How to get back to the hive and its sisters, with an empty stomach and no nectar.

As it was flying over a grove, it heard cheerful cries of children. The children were playing, laughing and making beautiful spring wreaths. And the meadow was full of blooming crocuses, hellebores and forest violets. The flowers saw the sad bee and opened their cups with sweet nectar.

Juju filled its stomach with nectar and flew merry and happy to its home.

All the bees were very pleased with Juju.
