The Three Musketeers

Alexandre Dumas wrote The Three Musketeers in 1844.

This story is about a poor, and young man called D’artagnan. D’artagnan leaves his family and his town, and go to Paris, to be a Musketeer, and fight for his king and his country. In Paris D’artagnan meet the three musketeers (Athos, Porhtos, Aramis).

In the beginning D’artagnan and The three musketeers fought each other, they was enemies. But after some days, they fight together a group of thieves, D’artagnan and the three musketeers win, after this fight they become friends. The king hears about the fight and he was so happy. D’artagnan become one of the queen guards. The king tells him: if you do will, you can be a musketeer in a year or two. D’artagnan become happy when he hears it.

The four friends had many exciting times, many fights and many laughs.

Each man was always ready to help each man:

 one for all, all for one.

One of the queen woman, Constance Bonacieux, was young and very pretty, D’artagnan fell in love with her. She fell in love with him too.

Constance Bonacieux tell D’artagnan about the queen: the king think that she is in love with the duke of Buckingham, he is a very important man in England. The queen liked the duke of Buckingham, she gives him some diamond pins.

the cardinal hates the queen; he wants the king hate her too.

The cardinal learned about the diamond, and he sent a woman, Milady to England. she had to take the diamond pins from the duke. the cardinal spoke to the king:

There is dinner and dance in twelve days. come with the queen, and tell her that she need to wear the diamond pins.

the king tells the queen about the dinner, and she was so sad.

Her diamond pins with the duke of Buckingham, Constance Bonacieux tell the queen about D’artagnan, she tells the queen that D’artagnan can go to England and take the diamond pins. The queen become happy when she hears that. after a day D’artagnan and the tree musketeers left Paris and go to England. In the way to England, the four friend’s meat many cardinal men. The three musketeers stay to fight them. D’artagnan arrived to England and meet the duke. D’artagnan take the diamond pins, then he come back to Paris, he stops in an inn, to meet his friends.  when they saw each other they were happy, because they were fine. then they go to the queen and give her the diamond, she was so happy and she thanked them. she goes to the dinner, When the cardinal see the diamond pins he got angry.

Milady tell the cardinal to kill D’artagnan. The cardinal meet D’artagnan and ask him: why you help the queen?

D’artagnan answer: because Constance Bonacieux ask me, and I love her. then the cardinal understands that D’artagnan is a good man, and he make D’artagnan lieutenant in the musketeers!
