Best Day Ever

It was a cold May night, The moon was out and shining. We were playing telephone around the campfire. It was my pop pop’s turn to make up the word. He whispered it to my  aunt and it went around the campfire. I figured it was funny because most people laughed when they were told. When my uncle whispered it to me i said “flowerpot?”. “haha the word was butterfly”. We didn’t win the game but we had fun.

It started to get late, “well, time to put the fire out”

“aww man”  He put out the fire and everyone went back to their campers.  Me my aunt and pop pop went back to our campers. We were watching jaws when all the sudden my pop pop’s phone started ringing. “who could that be” he stepped outside and answers the call. All i heard was mumbling.

The next morning we packed up all of the camping stuff packed it up and we went out to breakfast with everyone. After breakfast we said goodbye  to everyone than me my aunt and pop pop headed to the hospital. I fell asleep on the way there. When we arrived i got out of the car zoomed into the hospital got into the elevator and ran to the room where my mom and dad were in.

I saw him in my mom’s arms. As i got closer his blue eyes sparkled. His hair was as blonde as the sand on a beach.

“He  is so cute, what’s his name”

“Ginni, wanna hold him?”

“yeah”

I sat in the chair and held out my arms.When i looked him in the eyes he looked at me and smiled  I sat there for 15 minutes telling him everything about everything. I told him where we lived, where all the rooms were who was in our family i even told him what i had for dinner!. After that we just looked at each other and laughed for a while. I was so excited to have another brother.

“We are going to be best friends and i know it ” i told him. And we were best friends and we still are 2 years later. So I guess all those fairy tales that I read are right, sometimes dreams do come true.
