      Bam! Mom shut the door ! We were there finally after a four and a half hour drive.”Can we go to the hotel?” I asked impatiently. First, we have to check in. So, we checked in .The room was pretty nice. We put our stuff in our room and left

Lets get something to eat my Dad said.Next we got something to eat and headed back to our room to go to sleep.The next day we wanted to go to a bike place but it was closed .After that my Mom said” does anyone have any suggestions on what to do ?” We all agreed to go hiking .

 So we wanted to find a new hiking spot . My Dad knew where one was .At Least he thought he knew one! We went around everywhere trying to find someplace to hike .It took so long that I fell asleep!But finally we decided to stop looking and to go to this hiking spot.We picked the shortest path which was 1 mile .

 Finally, I panted “We are here!”. “Wow” my Mom said.  “I know, it’s so cool !” I said. It was the side of a mountain and we have a good view of the water too. We were all tired, so we started walking back.

On the way back, there was a rattle snake !  My Dad yelled”snake!” My Mom and I were scared!  My Dad crossed and told us to go, but it rattled again so we ran back.Then my Dad threw sticks at it and it went away.

We made it back to the hotel safely. This was a very scary experience, but a great story to tell!
