Pasukim Alef through Yud
The people of Israel were walking through the desert and complaining to Moshe and Aharon. They spoke of sitting and eating bread in front of a stove. They were referring to their time as slaves in Egypt. They said, “You have brought us to starve in the congregation of death”. Behold! I am going to rain down for you bread from heaven, and the people shall go out and gather what is needed for the day so that I can test them, whether or not they will follow My teaching.”
