Joe the dog

Two years ago, my grandmother died from cancer. My grandfather was alone in his house.

My family and I tried to convince him to adopt a dog so he will feel less lonely.

Eventually he listened to us and adopted a dog from a lady that took him from a family who had hurt him.

My brother and I decided to call him Joe because we thought it was a nice name for a dog.

When he first came to us, he was only a few months old and was very small and frightened.

At the beginning, he did his needs all over the place and my grandfather needed to train him not to do his needs in the house.

When Joe was young, he came to my house to sleep over when my grandfather flew to visit his son and his family in Germany.

My little sister who was very afraid of dogs, started to like dogs because of Joe. He is so friendly, likes to run, show empathy, play with us and play with lots of toys.

Since I remember, my brother, sisters and I have wanted to adopt a dog but my parents thought it won’t be a good idea. This is because a dog needs a lot of attention, someone to take him out and vaccines. Unfortunately, we don’t have the time for all these things. We feel that Joe is almost like our own dog and we love him very much.

Joe is around 2 years now, very big and tall and has white fur.

Now Joe is big and likes playing with other dogs and cats.

Like all dogs he does not like having a bath and prefers being without a dog leash around his body.

In conclusion, I am really happy Joe joined our family and that he makes my grandfather happy.
