GIMNAZIJA “STEVAN JAKOVLJEVIĆ”, SERBIA
Dating from 9 thousand years before now, we have witnessed the new lifestyle started to be transferred to other regions, that is, it is being globalized. It was understood only within last 15 years that the answers for most of the questions related to the Neolithic Period are in Anatolia. GÖBEKLİTEPE as a very significant archaeological site, which is located in the city of Şanlıurfa and accepted in the area of Fertile Crescent in history, is the perfect example that pre-historic findings belonging to the Neolithic Period travel from Anatolia to western part of Turkey and then to Europe.

Kırklareli Mound which is consisted of Aşağı Pınar Village and Kanlıgeçit settlements in the city of Kırklareli in Marmara Region brought in concrete data of that lifestyle’s transfusion. Then it continues towards Europe.

AŞAĞIPINAR TUMULUS, KIRKLARELİ

This historical immigration of our ancestors started from Anatolia to western Anatolia, then dispersed to Marmara Region and towards Europe.

NEOLITHIC HERITAGES
IN SERBIA

In this sense, the duty of the nowadays humanity must be to learn, share and protect their past, historical and cultural heritage.
In this project, we aimed to reinforce the consciousness of our historical and cultural heritage on the students, teachers, local people and on the national and European level. We would like to build historical and cultural bridges among the Partner Countries by learning from each other and sharing, exchanging information concerning the common destiny and heritage with the reinforcement of solidarity between partner schools.

LIVE CHAT
We organised Live Chat activity to get closer to each other and to come together on a virtual environment. It definitely made us feel that we are all together despite the distances, and discovered once again our common cultures and similarities.

Firstly, we all introduced ourselves and talked about our interests, hobbies and dream jobs. Then we shared how we spend our days at home. It seemed that popular hobbies of us are most likely listening to music, watching films, playing volleyball and video games, cooking, and most of us enjoy especially eating in these lockdown days 🙂
After that, we talked about where we would like to visit most when we can turn back to our social lives, and on famous cultural places in our countries.
Finally, we shared our opinions related to the project idea and about how it makes us feel. The most common agreement is that it brings us a unique experience by discovering our similar features and the closest cultural bridge among us.
Everyone enjoyed this Live Chat activity very much, and we are so pleased to meet each other. It gave us a great opportunity being much more interactive, so we have decided and agreed to meet again on this platform as well as to communicate on Whatsapp Group to make our contact constantly!
At the end, we evaluated the project that our project members posted their comment as well as joined the survey so that we could have the idea on whether we could achieve our targets and outcomes and if each of us enjoy and would feel the real part and active citizen during the project.

We experienced intercultural dialogue and practised English a lot as a foreign common language.
We learned and practised ICT tools such as:
Padlet
Viva Video
Logo Maker
Google Slides
Google Forms
Twinspace Chatroom

Survey Monkey
This is not the end, it is just a beginning!
Our project symbolizes a new beginning, enthusiastic opportunities in that we applied for Erasmus+ KA229 School Exchange Partnerships project under 2020 Call for Proposals.
We wish our Erasmus+ project could be approved and we could come together in our real lives!

Thanks to the e-Twinning Platform that brings us together.
We are looking forward to meeting and cooperating for new projects next year and in the future…
