The Amish life style.

the Amish lives In North America. Its localities are spread across 22 states in the United States and the Ontario region of Canada.

They are originally from Switzerland and Germany.

The Amish choose a simple way of life so they can pay more attention to family community and religion they don’t use electronic devices at all its a whole new life style

Clothing:

Amish women do not wear jewelry. Men and boys wear dark-colored suits, straight-cut coats without lapels they also were broadfall trousers, suspenders, solid-colored shirts, black socks and shoes, and black or straw broad-brimmed hats

Education:

The Amish had to establish their own schools. The main idea is to prevent the general education from the children in order to continue in their parents’ ways and be farmers like them. The children, according to the Amish view, have to work in the field once they reach self-awareness. The method is one room school, where all the children study together until the age of 12/13. Then, they have a special exemption from schooling. The prevention of learning and knowledge is one of the supervisory mechanisms used by the Amish to prevent children from maturing into general society.

Family life:

The family is the most important social unit in the Amish culture. Large families with seven to ten children are common. Chores are clearly divided by a role in the Amish home – the man usually works on the farm, while the wife does the washing, cleaning, cooking.

Occupations:

Most of the mens are farmers and the girls are responsible for  housechores cooking and cleaning and more.

Religion:

Transportation

Because cars are an electronic device, They sit in a cart that horses carry.

‘Choosing a lifestyle’. Amish believes that their religious beliefs and way of life are inseparable and interdependent.
