A fighter aircraft is designed to actively participate in fighting in its various aspects – whether by intercepting enemy aircraft, achieving aerial superiority, and attacking ground targets.

HISTORY
Fighter planes first appeared in World War one. there were small propeller-driven aircraft. The armament of the aircraft was a machine gun in the front compartment (in the back cabin sat the pilot) which was synchronized with the propeller blade rotations.
In World War II, the planes were also used to achieve aerial superiority, mainly for bombing enemy targets and assisting ground forces. The Luftwaffe was the pioneer in the use of Junkers Ju 87 snorkels for the elimination of armored forces and assistance to ground troops in a combat doctrine known as the Blitzkrieg.

Heinkel 111 played an important role in the battle for Britain. His weak defensive armament made him particularly vulnerable to attacks by British warplanes

The Dornier was referred to as the’’ Flying Pencil’’.
This aircraft also took part in the bombing of Britain in 1940-41.

Ju-87
The Junkers were nicknamed “Stocca.” This aircraft excelled in the battle for France when it was attacking, equipped with bombs and a siren, the retreating forces of the Allies and terrorizing them. In the Battle of Britain, this aircraft was a failure.

ME-262
The most advanced fighter of his time. the world’s first operational jet-powered fighter aircraft. It could fly at a speed of 500 miles per hour. Hitler’s demand to convert the plane to a bomber prevented his mass production as early as 1944.
