How To Write An Essay: Tips and Tricks!

Hello and welcome to my series on how to write an essay today I’m giving you some tips and tricks to improve your paper let’s go this series is brought to youby Squarespace let’s jump right in tip number one you should have at least one paragraph break per page I cannot tell you how many papers I’ve gotten where the page was just one wall of text one complete paragraph that started on a previous page and continues on to a third page do not do this this means that you’ve either not edited your paragraph enough and it’s rambling cuz your idea is just going on and on or you have conflated numerous points and ideas into one paragraph break them up it not only helps you to have more cohesive ideas but it also helps your reader to keep focus and to understand what you’re doing tip number two search your document by hitting command F or bringing up whatever search function your program uses to search for contractions words like Kent won’t isn’t didn’t do not belong in an academic paper and I typed them in all of the time cuz that’s how I talked before I had anything in I always hit command F and I typed those words in it will highlight the word for me I’ll quickly change it to is not did not could not simple and I just saved myself from getting a mark on my paper that someonecircled a word and wrote don’t use contractions similarly tip number three is search for repeated words I have a few words that when I start writing an essay I find myself using them over and over or phrases as well things like additionally or finally or this means that I find myself using those words over and over and over again because in the time I’m so sucked in that I don’t notice but by doing a simple search I’ll find oh wow I use that word four times in this paper your reader will notice that so just go through search if you did it and find replacement words or ways you can change that sentence so doesn’t sound so repetitive tip number four is to read your introduction out loud now ideally you would read your entire essay out loud I find this really helpful in making sure that I didn’t have some confusing words or my sentences all make sense so just do it read it out loud it’ll take you a few minutes and you could really improve your introduction which will make  better impact for the rest of the paper tip number five check that you added your title this sounds like something I shouldn’t have to say but I cannot tell you how many papers I’ve gotten with no title I think that people just reckon they’ll do it later I’ll think of the title at the end and then they forget to and they submit the paper do a quick check make sure you have your title make sure it makes sense and it’s relevant just make sure it’s there and my final tip is of course thesis statement related because I love thesis statements firstly make sure that you have a thesis statement and that it is argumentative but secondly reread your thesis statement once you have finished writing your paper completely you may find that you have changed your thesis statement that what you’re arguing isn’t what your original thesis statement wasjust change it it’s okay if it changed it probably has a little bit this episode has been brought to you by Squarespace which is great because I actually like Squarespace a lot it’s a one-stop shop for website constructionit’s an all-in-one program you go there and you pick a gorgeous template you can build a website for artists for portfolios a shop a blog any sort of website that you need so if you want to check them out you can have a free trialby visiting professional essay writing services UK forward slash Arial and you can get 10% off your first purchase I really hope that you found this series helpful thank you again to Squarespace for sponsoring and a good luck the best of luck with your essay down below let me know do you have a tip or trick to help with my essay
