                          Mario Casas

Mario was born in La Coruña, Galicia. At six years of age, he moved with his family to Catalonia, where he spent much of his life before moving to the capital in search of better opportunities. He began his acting studies at the Cristina Rota School. In 2005 she made her debut as a performer with a small role in the television series ‘Obsession’. Mario Casas is one of the most recognized Spanish actors in recent times, due to his great success with the film that led him to become one of the most beloved stars, “Three meters above the sky.” Since then, the Spanish artist has continued to conquer the hearts of thousands of fans who wait for seconds to see him again on the big screen.

Ramón Casas became a father at age 19 with the arrival of Mario. The progenitor of the actor from Instinto or Los hombres de Paco bears a great physical resemblance to his children. The other half of the Casas genes come from Heidi Sierra. She debuted in motherhood at age 17, so she was a young mother who has had time to watch her older children grow up and become a mother in 2014 of a blonde named Daniel who is the weakness of the family.

On the occasion of the presentation of the new awareness campaign of the Josep Carreras Foundation against leukemia “Help us to put people where they have to be”, leukemia patients at the Niño Jesús University Children’s Hospital in Madrid received a very yesterday visit special: that of the actors Mario Casas and María Castro, and, of course, Josep Carreras, President of the Foundation that bears his name. These artists have wanted to join our cause to partner with the plans of people suffering from leukemia: more than 5,000 people a year in Spain.
