Amit the Cook

Once there was a girl named Amit.

Amit’s mother loved to cook and cooked delicious food.

Amit loved to eat her mother’s food.

On Fridays, when Amit’s mother would cook for the Sabbath, Amit would come home from school and help her mother with the cooking in their small kitchen.

Her mother saw Amit’s delight in cooking, so she bought her a professional kitchen knife. The knife was small and fit into her small hand.

In the beginning, Amit would wash, peel and cut fruits and vegetables.

Amit became so good at cooking, that slowly her mother left the kitchen and gave her the opportunity to cook on her own. She even bought her a basic cookbook.

She also used her mother’s recipe book.

Amit was very happy to get the books and started cooking for fun. She made cakes, cookies, pasta and salads and the whole family enjoyed her meals.
