
The MTSS and Section 504 Departments of Stone Mill Elementary remain focused on supporting the whole child. We see improved outcomes for students by providing a tiered system of support which includes screening, progress monitoring, and data-based decision making. These outcomes include sustained academic improvement, decreased inappropriate special education services, and a reduction in student grade retention. We also see a reduction in behavioral referrals and suspensions.
