In general, lying is not a positive thing.

In fact, if all human beings were constantly lying, we could not live here together as a one society.

I can think of some reasons why lying is a bad thing:

If you lie all the time then people will not believe for what you are saying and at the end will not trust you.

If you tell a lot of lies to a lot of people then you need to remember what lie you told everyone, but if you are telling the truth, you don’t need to remember anything because it will always be kept in your head.

In conclusion, even though lying is a negative thing, I can think of a lot of problems that could have happened if all human beings were always telling the truth.

We all lie in our daily lives and it is sometimes difficult to say where the line between lying and politeness goes.
