What is Hanukkah?

Hanukkah is the eight-day Jewish holiday also called the” festival of lights”.

The Hebrew word “Hanukkah” means “dedication”,it is called thus because it celebrates the rededication of the Holy Temple.

Hanukkah begins on the eve of Kislev 25 and continues for eight days.
