I am not comfortable forwarding emails all the time. But I am also not going to give up trying to make ‘the World’ see the light.
If you do not want to receive these emails from me, don’t hesitate to tell me. Just don’t be like the one who demanded I take them off the list because they felt I was an extremist. It was ‘they’ who were extreme. Your reason for being taken off the list would hopefully only be one of the following –
You’ve gone blind
Your children/wife/husband/grandchildren/dog/parrot take too much of your time
Your son/daughter just married a Muslim and you don’t want to hurt their feelings
You’ve gone off politics

Anger over Gaza is a distraction. We cannot forget that Israel is the West’s best ally in a turbulent region
For far too long now it has been unfashionable in Europe to speak up for Israel. In the wake of the recent incident on board a ship full of anti-Israeli activists in the Mediterranean, it is hard to think of a more unpopular cause to champion.
In an ideal world, the assault by Israeli commandos on the Mavi Marmara would not have ended up with nine dead and a score wounded.
