At the beginning of 2018, I embarked on an adventure of a lifetime: 6 months of living life on my own terms, exploring the breathtaking lands of South and Central America.
I was incredibly lucky to experience this epic adventure and feel a profound sense of real freedom.
From Brazil and Columbia to Pero, Ecuador, Panama, Guatemala, and Mexico. No schedules, no responsibilities, just pure freedom.
The biggest dilemma I faced was deciding which fruits to choose for my shake.
Every day was a blank canvas, waiting to be filled with unforgettable experiences and views.
My trip pushed me far beyond my comfort zone.
I found myself sharing dorms with people I had just met, hiking on a 5200-meter-high mountain, dancing to vibrant music with locals, and indulging in adrenaline-pumping activities I never thought I’d try.
South and Central America are home to some of the most jaw-dropping wonders of nature.
I experienced Mother Nature in all her glory, from swimming in crystal-clear turquoise lagoons to hiking on volcanoes and exploring enchanting caves in the most beautiful islands I’ve ever seen.
One of the most amazing parts of my trip was the connections I made along the way.
I met fellow travelers who became lifelong friends. We had incredible adventures together and made memories that will stick with us forever. Thanks to these friends, I always felt a sense of home away from home.
This trip was a time of pure freedom, self-discovery, and unforgettable moments.
It was a dream come true and I have no doubt I’ll embark on another trip like that in the future.
