As now

Look up,

The skies are so clear

You can see the stars above

There never was

Such a green world

And white jasmine bush

Spreading its ancient Intoxicating scent

Down the empty street

There never were

Rivers like that

With water running

So free and fresh

2

No wars no battles

No guns no traps

The world is so quiet

You can hear

Hearts beating

There never was

Such an April

And there was never

Such an us

As now

3

It’s an Holiday Eve

It’s an Holiday Eve

Love me today in silence

Love me slowly

It’s just the two of us here alone

And the forbidden world surrounds

This evening the holiday is knocking at the door

Without the gaiety of children

Not only Elijah won’t show up,

The table is set for no more than

Just us two

4

Perhaps, now

We’ll shake the dust

We’ll light the candles,

You’ll pour us some wine

We’ll put on an old loved record

Is now cast somewhere in the dark.

Dance with me now, slowly

Like at the start

Perhaps now when each day

Seems like the next

Now that it’s just us two

Perhaps you’ll love me

Silently, slowly

This Is an Holiday Eve

A touching distance

I am keeping my distance

My touching distance

My watching distance

My hearing distance

Except for the silence

And the spring

Which break into my life

To share their secrets

One hundred yards of flowers

One hundred yards of flowers

One hundred yards of rain

One hundred yards of citrus tree scents

One hundred yards of green

One hundred yards of buildings

One hundred yards of closed gardens, schools and Streets

One hundred yards of falling Leaves

One hundred yards of beauty

One hundred yards of sanity

One hundred yards of buds

One thousand yards

Of hope for

A new day

We have learned

We have learned to live together

We have learned to divide the rooms

To divide the housework

We have learned to divide

The hours, the night

And the day by day

We have learned to divide words and silences

We have learned to eat together

And to swallow the loneliness alone

We have learned to divided ourselves

A bit to each other

And the most-

Each one for himself

Don׳t wait

Don׳t wait

For a better year

For a better moment

Don’t wait

For another sunrise

Or a full moon.

Now.

And Forget

All the other

Seasons

It’s April

It’s April

Stubborn like a little boy

Pulling me into the street

To show me all his little raindrops

And Spring blossoms

It’s April Running away

From the fence and the field

Spreading his beauty

Jumping In puddles of clouds

Calling me to follow

It’s April mischievously closing my eyes

And playing Hide and Seek with me

Until I find him

Maybe

Maybe

In another time

In another life

If we meet again

While we are innocent and simple

We will have the courage

To let the heart lead us

To an enchanted journey

And we will not get lost in a clock

Whose hands are short

To contain

What we missed

Promise me.

My longings

My longings stretch across

The endless summer,

The sea shells that

I left behind,

The sands I never touched

And the waves that never

Wait

Let it go

Let it go.

After all,

It is soon August my love,

On its horizon I once painted the stars

I had the sea

I had an island

And lost them both

Once I had a bottle of Mythos

And Bouzouki music

That took me

Dancing with

My tears

My summer dreams

My summer dreams are

Hanging on the clothesline

Clean, passionless,

It took me time

To give them up.

One by one the days

Fell by,

And the sea receded

Without my noticing

As

One by one,

so did I
