HI! I’m Multiplication. A number x a number is my thing to do everyday. I can not stand DIVISION!!!!!! I love my keywords multiple, times, and multiply.

Once upon a time, addition and multiplication were friends until addition realized that multiplication is easier to solve. Addition realized that from the daily news paper saying “Congratulations! Multiplication is the easiest math to solve.” Addition thought that multiplication was actually the hardest math to solve. So, addition challenged multiplication.

One evening, addition thought and told multiplication ” I challenge you for a competition at Liberty Science Center to see who is actually easier to solve and not to struggle with.” said addition.

The next day, addition and multiplication were getting ready to go to Liberty Science Center. Once the bus has arrived to pick them up, they hopped on to the bus and the bus driver drove them to Liberty Science Center.

So, addition gave his equation, 300 + 67=367, and multiplication gave his equation, 14 x 2=28. The winner of the competition, at Liberty Science Center is……. ADDITION. The reason why addition won is because all you have to do is add the number 67 to the number 300, which you get 367!
