Apple Pie

An old woman wants to make an apple pie.

She has no apples and no money,

but she has a cow.

The woman takes some milk and

she walks to the market.

On the way, she sees a man

with ten cats.

“My cats are hungry.”

“Here’s some milk for your cats.”

The cats are happy.

“Thank you. This cat is for you.”

The ols woman takes the cat and

walks to the market.

On the way, she sees a little girl.

“Please help me. There is a big rat

in my garden.”

“Here’s a cat for you. The cat can

eat the rat.”

The girl is happy.

“Thank you. These flowers are for you.”

The ols woman takes the flowers and walk

to the market.

On the way, she sees a prince.

“It’s the princess’s birthday. This bird is

her present, but she doesn’t want it.

“Here are some flowers for the princess.”

The prince is happy.

“Thank you. This bird is for you.”

The old woman takes the bird and

walks to the market.

On the way, she sees a father and

a little boy.

“My boy is sad.”

Here’s a bird for your boy.”

The boy is happy.

“Thank you. These apples are for you.”

The old woman is happy.

She takes the apples and walks home.

She makes an apple pie for the man,

the little girl, the prince, the princess,

the father and the little boy.

They are all happy.

“Our favourite food is apple pie.”
