Blue Bird asked his mom “Can I go to the woods? I will fly back before dark I promise,”

“Yes, you may go through the woods if you are back before dark. Bye, have fun!” His mom answered.

So of Blue Bird flew towards the woods in delight.

As Blue Bird landed he saw a worm, so he grabbed it and ate it.

Soon Blue Bird got bored so he started walking around.

Soon Blue Bird realized that he didn’t know the way home and started calling out, “Help, someone help! Please I am lost!”

Soon he stumbled upon a deer! “Oh please help me!” He called to the deer.

The deer looked up and said, “I know these woods like the back of my hoof, I can help you,”

So the deer led Blue Bird out of the woods. “Oh thank you so much!” Blue Bird said.

 Blue Bird managed to make it back in time after all!

“What did you do in the woods?” his mom asked, “Nothing, just flying,” He lied. So his mom ended up just feeding Blue Bird before he went to sleep.
