There is no person who does not dislike any food, even if he knows that it is the healthiest and most nutritious thing there is or, alternatively, is completely addicted to a particular food that others actually shy away from.

You do not eat spicy?  – There is a genetic reason for this.

In a study conducted at the Monel Chemical Senses Center in Philadelphia, USA, this Implies that the types of food a woman eats during pregnancy may affect the food the children will eat and indeed there are some effects, but it is still unclear.

Most people like the combination of some food textures in the mouth, but others like it more than others due to a particular gene. The more copies you have of this particular gene, the more amylase your saliva has, the enzyme that crushes the starch in your food and the more amylase saliva there is, the better you can appreciate the different textures you have in food.

French scientists have recently discovered that emotions on people’s faces can affect our desire to eat a particular food. Looking at the images of a disgusted face, the subjects did not want to eat certain foods that they already liked. In contrast, pictures of people enjoying food caused subjects to eat foods that they usually dislike such as liver, sausage and more. “It’s also genetically determined”.
