Irena Sendler

Information about Irena Sendler:

Irena Sendler was a catholicc woman from a rich family. 

she was born on 15 February 1910 and on died 12 May 2008 at the age of 98.

 Sendler had many occupations, she was a social worker, nurse, administrator, educator and  a humannitarian.

Irena Sendler was a very brave person, even  though a great job, a huband and a little girl she chould’nt just sit and watch the horrors the jwish people had to suffer. By smuggling money and food and forging bags and names,

the operation led to the rescue of 2,500 children from the Warsaw ghetto.
