John is grey and has a white spot at the end of his tail, that’s why it’s easy to see him at night because the white reflects in the light, john is my cat, you’re probably wondering why I named a cat John.

When I just got John as a present for my birthday, he was just a fairy ball, a small kitty, werling around, and he loved hummus, one day my grandfather, whose name is John, left his hummus on the table, the little kitty started eating the hummus and my grandma cried out loud, John is eating your hummus! and since then his name is John.

John Mews and immediately I understand what he wants, normally he wants trips, he has an obsession for trips. Right after the morning hummus, he stands at the door and mews. I let him out, and in the afternoon when I get back from school, he comes back home, sits on my lap and I let him lick from my own daily hummus dish, right from my finger tips and he tells me where he was all day.

John knows all the shops in our neighborhoods much better than I do, especially those that has yummy food left overs, like the “mizrahi” place on the main streets, John loves hummus and falafel leftovers, especially the one children likes, without all the weird toppings adults like to add like parsley and paprika. Now he is grown up, and he goes for much longer trips, and always comes back to tell me over hummus on my lap. I pet him and he perls and tells his adventures.

Yesterday he didn’t come back in the afternoon, I was very worried, I told mom, and together we went to look for him in the neighborhood, we cried out loud, John! John! But I knew that he was probably not in the neighborhood, and was busy in some crazy adventure. At home mom and me made Facebook and Instagram ads with his pictures and a sign of lost cat.

Only at night time when I was already in my pajamas and I finished brushing my teeth, I heard mewing behind the door, and John came back home, tired and walking very slowly with a huge white stain all over his back, mom and me were so relieved, I was so happy! And mom let him come to bed with me.

Even though he was tired, he told me all the unbelievable adventures that he went through. He told that in his trip he saw an elephant that throws white paints around that stays forever, the elephant just finished the Zell program and really wanted to give back to where he gained valuable lessons, he decided to paint the zellerator white, but most of the paint hit other animals, that also happen to love hummus. when he finished his story he fell asleep on my pillow and we both went to sleep cuddling.
