So you’re looking for a job. That’s cool. Jobs keep us busy, give us purpose and help pay the bills. Are there any other good reasons? Sure. Jobs help us make new friends, establish social networks, and unless the job involves staying in your home 24/7, it also helps you physically meet other people. Kind of important for the social creatures we are. Jobs may also help you discover, learn, explore, create.

But do you want a job though that isn’t YOU? A job that you hate, despise, resent, have trouble getting up in the morning and dragging yourself to the shower and sink (always a good idea to use a sink and shower before you go off to work). After all we spend most of our lives at work. So you want a job that is YOU. A job that reflects your gifts, that challenges you, inspires you, gratifies you. A job should be 100% you. Or as close to 100% as you can make it.

So my first piece of advice is that you be the master of your destiny. Find a job that suits You .
