Old lost jobs

The old lost jobs are:

The Human alarm clok;

The Knife grinder;

The Shoemaker;

but they are  only some of them……..

In my town, Nocera Inferiore,in the past there were lost of jobs,but we know them only whit our granparent’s memories. 

Well, no alarms of any kind existed until the middle of the last century. For this reason there was a real professional assigned to this precious function. During the morning hours he would review all the windows in the neighborhood and wake up the still sleepy people. In this way all sold out in the morning. This professional was called Eduward. He was very rich; he wandered the streets of the city and knocked at the windows of the people who had entrusted him with the task the previous day. They are much more, to get to a higher floor. One morning Eduward wandered around the city waking up people with his legendary staff. But he realized that nobody woke up because his staff was crumbling; then that morning delayed the people who had to go to work. They became furious and lost faith in Eduward. The whole country got together to discuss an event that happened and they took a decision, that is to entrust the task to a person of loyalty approval. Eduward became sad when he became acquainted with it
