The Simpsons Stories: Going To The Doctor

by Darcy May Partridge

One morning, Marge is taking Bart and Lisa to the doctor in her new car. “Is Maggie staying home today, Mum?” she asked. “I’m taking Maggie to Dad’s house while you both have your doctors appointment.” she said.

At last, Marge took Bart and Lisa to Springfield Cosmetic Surgery Clinic to see the doctor. “Let’s sit down and wait, kids.” she said. “I’m so tired of waiting.” he said.

“Can I help myself to some water please, Mum?” asked Lisa. “Yes, you can, Lisa.” said Marge, and she helped herself to a cup of water before they see the doctor.

Dr. Hibbert came up to Marge, Bart and Lisa. “Let’s go for your appointment now, kids.” he said, and he took them to his room. “We’ve both been to the doctor a lot of times.” she said.

Dr. Hibbert is going to check Bart first. “How does your heart feel today?” he asked. “It feels very slow.” he said. “I think you’re doing very well today, Bart.” said Marge.

Dr. Hibbert checked Lisa next. “Now, you have a sore throat today.” he said. “The reason why that I have it today is because I had my operation 2 weeks ago.” she said.

“Have a few sips of water, Lisa. It may make your throat better.” said Dr. Hibbert, and Lisa took a few sips of water to make her throat better.

“Thank you for checking us, Dr. Hibbert.” said Bart. “That’s okay, but I’ll be seeing you again nearly at the end of December.” said Dr. Hibbert.

Marge, Bart and Lisa went back to her car. “I’ll pick Maggie up now, then we’ll all go home.” she said, and the kids should see Dr. Hibbert again nearly at the end of December.
