The Simpsons Stories: Homer and Bart Have KFC

by Darcy May Partridge

One afternoon at 12pm, Homer, Bart, Lisa and Maggie reached to KFC to get some lunch. “I don’t want a KFC! I want a sandwich from the Kwik-E-Mart!” she said crossly.

“Well, me and Bart are having a KFC, you can have a sandwich from the Kwik-E-Mart and Maggie has her baby food for lunch today.” said Homer.

“Please can I have two boxes of large popcorn chicken, regular fries, ketchup, gravy and mini fillets?” asked Homer. “Please can I have large popcorn chicken, regular fries, a berry burst Fruit Shoot, ketchup, gravy, mini fillets and mash potato?” asked Bart.

“Yes, you both can.” said the man. “Thank you.” said Homer. “Please can we eat the food at the house, Dad?” asked Bart. “We both can.” he said.

Homer and Bart went back to the Simpsons car. “Next, I need to go to the Kwik-E-Mart to get Lisa a sandwich, and then we can come home and have our lunch.” he said.

At last, Homer, Bart, Lisa and Maggie reached to the Kwik-E-Mart. “Can I come in with you and Lisa?” he asked. “I think you may. Maggie will stay in the car.” he said.

“Wow! I want a tuna mayo sandwich for my lunch!” said Lisa. “Well, I want a chicken mayo sandwich with my KFC for my lunch too.” said Bart.

Homer, Bart and Lisa went to pay for the food at the till. “Here’s your receipt. Come back any time.” said Apu. “Thanks, Apu.” he said.

Homer, Bart, Lisa and Maggie went home. “Now, we can have our KFC, Bart! Why did you buy a chicken mayo sandwich?” he asked. “That’s because I want it, that’s why.” he said, and he ate one of his chicken mayo sandwiches.

Lisa tried the mash potato. “Hey! That’s my food! Go away!” said Bart crossly. “Lisa’s just only trying the mash potato, you don’t have to be angry with her.” said Homer.

“I love the popcorn chicken!” said Bart. “I do too!” said Homer, and he ate some popcorn chicken and his mini fillets. “This is the best KFC meal ever!” he said.

Maggie tried one of Homer’s popcorn chicken from his plate. “I think Maggie likes the popcorn chicken from KFC, doesn’t she?” he asked. “Maggie’s only a baby, okay?” asked Bart.

“Dad, we forgot to buy desserts for each other.” said Bart. “It’s okay, Bart. We can have desserts next time we have a KFC, okay?” asked Homer.

“KFC is so disgusting. I would never eat animals again.” said Lisa. “You don’t have to like any food, so you did try some of my mash potato, didn’t you, but you have to ask me first before you eat it, okay?” asked Bart.

“Okay, Bart.” said Lisa. “I should really have a KFC with Milhouse next time.” said Bart, and he enjoyed having a KFC with Homer, so he should have a meal of it with Milhouse next time.
