The Simpsons Stories: Marge’s New Car

by Darcy May Partridge

One Friday afternoon at 4pm, Marge is getting her new car. “What car are you getting, Mum?” asked Lisa. “I’m getting a black Lexus NX SUV car with diesel in, driving automatically!” she said excitedly.

Marge took Bart, Lisa and Maggie to Homer’s house in 90 Farrow Close before she gets her new car. “Goodbye, kids! I’ll pick you up on Sunday evening!” she said.

Finally, Marge got to Springfield Car Centre to get her new car. “Your black automatic diesel Lexus NX SUV car will be ready in five minutes, Marge Simpson.” said a man.

“Just 3 more minutes and then my new car will be ready.” said Marge, and a little boy and his mother met her. “What’s your name?” he asked.

“My name is Marge Simpson. How are you?” she asked. “My name is LJ, and I’m doing good there. My mummy is looking for a new car too!” said the little boy.

Finally, Marge’s new car was ready. “If you drive your old car to the used car park first, then you get to drive your new car!” said the man happily. “My orange estate car got very old.” she said.

Marge drove her old car into the used car park and ran back to the centre doors and to the man. “Well done, Marge! You parked your old car into the used car park! Here is your new car.” he said proudly.

“Oh, thank you! I don’t think I’ll drive manually anymore now.” said Marge proudly. “You’re welcome. See you back really soon! Bye!” said the man, and she started to drive her car back to Evergreen Terrace.

“It is so easy that I drive automatically in my new car, so I am very happy to do that!” said Marge, and she was driving back home to Evergreen Terrace.

Marge went straight back home to 742 Evergreen Terrace. “Now, I don’t have the kids this weekend, so I can be on my own at home.” she said, and she went to the living room to watch TV and chill out.
