The successful singer – Beyoncé

Today I want to tell you about a very successful and famous woman that you all know…

Beyoncé is best known as a singer, but she also writes some of her songs and, has even won the Pop Songwriter of the Year award at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards.
She was the first black woman to win this award.

Moreover, she has starred in movies, produced several of her albums and dances throughout all of her performances.
In addition to being a successful performer, she is a feminist and not afraid to express her opinions and include her beliefs in all her works.

In this song, at 1:25 she is sampling “We should all be feminists”, a speech delivered by Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie at a TEDx talk in April 2013.

I think she is successful because beyond being an amazing singer with impressive vocal abilities and being rich as a result, she is also an example to many women worldwide in the messages she conveys in her songs and breaks records thus shattering glass ceilings for many women.
