The successful woman – Kamala Devi Harris

Kamala was elected as the first female vice president of the United States of America.

she was the first African American and the first Asian American to be elected to this part.

All through her career, Kamala always fought for the people.
she went through several positions as an attorney, until eventually, in 2010 she became the attorney general of the state of California.

She won a lot of money for settlements for those whose home had been foreclosed on, settlement for students and veterans and, established the state’s first Bureau of children’s justice and instituted several first-of-their-kind reforms that ensured greater transparency and accountability in the criminal justice system.

in 2017 harris was sworn into the US senate. as a senator, she worked with both parties and championed legislation to reform cash bail, combat hunger, provide rent relief, improve maternal health care, and address the climate crisis as a member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Work.

in 2020 she had accepted Joe Biden’s invitation to become his running mate and help unite the nation.

Kamala and her husband, Doug Emhoff, got married in 2014.

Emhoff is a Jewish lawyer, and they raise his two children together.

Kamala had people trying to stop her all through her life, who told her she is not good enough, but she always put her opinions first and always pursued what she believed in.

I admire Kamala because she is an inspiring woman. who is not afraid to say what she believes in.

I think she would be an inspiration to many little girls, that will understand that it is no longer a fairy tale to have a woman in the most powerful positions in the world.
