It is Xmas, all family members arrived at grandparents’ house to celebrate.

2

There were many gifts placed under the Xmas tree.

3

“But wait, what is that box on Grandpa’s rocking chair?” asked all kids as one.

“And where is Grandpa?” some added and started looking for him.

4

The most interesting moment was when Santa walked in the living room, picked up that box that was placed on Grandpa’s rocking chair and opened it.

5

It was a book – the name on its cover was ONCE UPON A BUTTERFLY

6

They all looked at each other thinking what this book is about and how lucky they are to have Santa together with them.

7

Santa opened the book and a big blue glowing BUTTERFLY started flying around the living room above all, spraying magic dust in the air before it landed on Santa’s shoulder.

8

Santa smiled, then started reading from the first page:
“Each year at
Xmas time if anyone desires a wish to come true, they must first capture an imaginary BUTTERFLY and whisper that wish to it,” said Santa to all family members.

9

“Since a BUTTERFLY can make no sound, the BUTTERFLY cannot reveal the wish to anyone but to me,” said Santa to all.
All grasped their hands with joy looking forward to make a wish.

10

“In gratitude for giving the beautiful BUTTERFLY its freedom, I always grant the wish,” said Santa.

11

“But… as for the magic to happen there are three simple secrets:

  1. Your wish should be for another living being.
  2. You must touch that person with your finger in the same place the butterfly should land.

Remember: That is the only way for the magic to happen,” reminded Santa to all family members.

12

Santa closed the book and said, before reading the next page, “Dear family, let’s bring the magic to this house, let’s wish for one another and release the BUTTERFLY.

13

All, one after the other, starting from Santa started touching each other with their pointing finger.

14

What about you dear readers? STOP READING NOW!

Place the book aside and start do the same! Don’t you want to see your wish come true?

15

“Wait!” Said Santa, “Remember, there is also the third secret, as for the magic to happen, each must kiss that person they touched in the same place the BUTTERFLY landed.”

16

All laughed with joy when they kissed each other on the same place they touched each other with their pointing finger.

17

“Oh grandpa, where have you been?” all kids ran to hug their Grandpa, “Santa was here, and he sat on your chair and told us a story…”

“What story?!” asked Grandpa, a big smile on his face.

18

This Xmas was the most magical than ever before; each opened its gift to see that Santa made all wishes come true.
