Cardiff Holiday

Day 1: Arrival at night on Monday 1st May 2023

After arriving to Bristol Airport, we will be there to pick you up to take you to your hotel which is about an hours drive. After dropping you off at your hotel, we will leave you to settle down and rest after your long journey at night.

Day 2: Tuesday 2nd May 2023

After having your breakfast in your hotel, we will come to pick you up at 10:30 am. Our first place to visit is Castell Coch also known as Red Castle. This is a historical castle built in 1875 to protect the newly conquered town Cardiff. After having a visit around the castle, you can take a walk in the forest which will lead you to the castle’s tea room called the Forest Cafe. Here you can have a delicious light lunch because you will go to a nice forest walk on the Taff Trail. Following that you will be having Fish and Chips for an evening meal and then return to your hotel.

Day 3: Wednesday 3rd May 2023

After having your breakfast in your hotel, at around 11:00 am you will be picked up from your accommodation and by car you will be taken to the Llandaff Cathedral which dates all the way back to the 10th century. İt is also one of the oldest Christian sites in Britain. Later on you will be taken to Cardiff Bay where the area has a vibrant waterfront surrounding the shore of a stunning freshwater lake. Also, there is the Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay which is one of the most unique and lively performing arts centres in Europe.

Day 4: Thursday 4th May 2023

On this day you will have your breakfast not in the hotel but in a historic museum, St Fagans. You will be picked up at 9:00 am and you will travel by car. İt is an open-air museum. There are over 50 historic buildings from all over Wales have been re-built at the Museum including a Victorian school and also a medieval church. İt is based on the historical lifestyle, culture, and architecture of the Welsh people. After your visit to the historical museum you will travel back to the city centre where the Cardiff Castle is found. After having your lunch in a restuarant near by, you can either visit the castle and then go shopping or, you may directly go shopping in Queen street where many different varieties of shops are found including souvenir markets.
