One day, a girl panda was walking along in the forest. Her name was Fluffy. There were bamboo trees, and very tall plants. Panda was singing her favourite song: “I can walk, I can walk, I can walk and walk and I’m having lots of fun, I can walk, I can walk, can you?”

Suddenly, Fluffy felt something strange…She looked up. The high plants were bending down with huge mouths and teeth. They were carnivorous plants!  ‘The plants want to eat me!’ shouted Fluffy. Fluffy started running and singing. ‘I can run, I can run, I can run and run and I’m having lots of fun, I can run, I can run, can you?’

Can plants run? No, they can’t! So Fluffy escaped. Phew!

She was still running along when suddenly, she felt something behind her. She looked…There were twenty bees behind her! She ran but the bees followed, so she jumped in a lake and started swimming. She could even swim under water! She started singing: “I can swim, I can swim, I can swim and swim, and I’m having lots of fun. I can swim, I can swim, can you?”

Can bees swim? No they can’t! Of course they can’t. So Fluffy escaped again! Phew!

Fluffly was swimming along after the bees had gone and suddenly, she felt something near her leg. She looked down into the water. It was…a crocodile! “The crocodile wants to eat me!”, she screamed. She jumped out of the water and climbed a tree. A tall, tall tree. She climbed up and up and started singing: “I can climb, I can climb, I can climb and climb, and I’m having lots of fun. I can climb, I can climb … can you?”

Can crocodiles climb trees? No they can’t! So she escaped once again! Phew!

Fluffly was up the tree when she heard something coming from below. She looked down: “Oh no! It’s a bear climbing up the tree! The bear wants to eat me!”, she screamed.

How could she escape? She remembered her friend the Eagle…And so she called out: “Eagle! Eagle! Come my friend! Come and help me, please!”

And Eagle flew towards the tree…Eagle shouted: “Jump on my back, quick!”. And Fluffly did. She jumped onto Eagle’s back and they flew away. Fluffy started singing…do you know what she started singing?

Yes, you are right! “I can fly, I can fly, I can fly and fly and I’m having lots of fun. I can fly, I can fly, can you?”. Can bears fly? No, of course they can’t. And so once again, happy Fluffy escaped! Phew!

Well, Fluffy suddenly felt very tired after all these adventures, and so she asked her friend Eagle to take her home. When she got home, her mother asked her: “Where have you been? I was a little worried!”. And Fluffly told her the WHOLE story and fell asleep humming a song…Do you know which song? Yes! “Mmmm, mmm, mmmm zzzzz”

The end.
