Who doesn’t know Noa Kirel?

She is an Israeli singer, actress and television host. She won the MTV Europe Music Awards for the best Israeli act between 2017 and 2021.

This year she is going to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

Noa is going to sing the song “UNICORN” in the Eurovision Contest, and here are some of the lyrics:

This song was published right on International Women’s Day for a reason.

Noa Kirel is a powerful and strong woman, who knows how to stand up for herself.

I see Noa Kirel as the country’s unicorn, a special and amazing phenomenon that we haven’t seen in recent years. Standing on her own, succeeding on her own, always making sure to look towards the next goal.

Of course I hope she wins the competition, but even if not, she will always be one of the best singers in Israel, and soon (hopefully) in the world!

Although we are in 2023, there are not many successful women in their field, because there is still inequality between men and women.

There are wages gaps between men and women, lack of representatives of women in government, sexual and physical violence towards women and unfortunately the list goes on.

The change begins with us, in our daily lives and in the small details.

I hope that until next year we will no longer have to mark International Women’s Day because there will already be full equality of rights between women and men.
