My Trip To ATHENS

It all started in April, after my breakup with my boyfriend of the past four years. I sat with my friends and we decided that it was time for the three of us to take a trip together. We knew we would go after we finished all of our exams, but we didn’t know where to. We started looking for destinations that would be fun to fly to in the summer. We wanted freedom, sun, to eat good food, relax, shop, and, most importantly, be together. We wanted something to look forward to.

We decided to fly to Athens, a destination that none of us had been to, and it was also a destination that fit our budget.

September arrived, and we got on the plane and flew to Athens. The weather was amazing, it was hot during the day and cool at night. The main focus of the trip was food, shopping, food, alcohol, and a little more shopping and food. We walked around the city, explored the streets, ate local and non-local food, and, most importantly, relaxed after the crazy period we had been through .

It was our first trip together and definitely not the last. In June, they booked a flight to Beyonce show in Amsterdam together. Because of my exams, I thought I wouldn’t be able to join them, so I told them they would have to fly without me. It was very difficult for them to accept

What they still don’t know is that two weeks ago, I booked a flight ticket and I will surprise them there. They won’t understand where I came from. But that’s a story for May. It’s so much fun to have such friends, soulmates who know me the best!
