Sarah Saraha Soryl Malka Jacobson (nee Garson) was born in 1877 in Dorbyan, Lithuania.

In 1877 Thomas Edison invented the Edisonphone and the Phonograph. A US railroad strike led to military intervention, with nine workers killed. The first Wimbledon tennis tournament was held. The Ottawa Roughriders (a Canadian football team) played their first out of town game.

Sarah was the daughter of Bera Garson and Rochel Hinda Garson.

She married Louis Jacobson. Their children were Jennie Whitzman, David Jacobson, Ada Mary Zebberman, Bessie Fine, Betty Simon, Morris and Joe.

Sarah died in Saint John, New Brunswick on August 10th, 1924. Here gravestone is front left.
