Borgo Pineta primary school – 2nd graders
Once Crabegg was on the beach, making a castle with sand. He wasn’t very good at making sand castles and his piece of work wasn’t very good.

2ND CHAPTER

Maleme Primary School -1st Grade
He tried and tried to build a castle big and impressive with towers and gates. But the castle either collapsed or was awful.
Crabegg was so angry that he thought of doing mean things.
He walked around the beach and met Monsterheart who has just finished an impressive castle.
Crabegg rolled and destroyed the castle.

3RD CHAPTER

Kropyvnytskyi Educational Complex #31 – 3rd graders

Monsterheart asked Crabegg why he was so angry and stupid that
destroyed such a wonderful castle. He had built it to play with his friends
Baffoking and Bihorn and now they all together would punish Crabegg for
his meanness.
Crabegg was not afraid that realized that he had done a bad deed. “Excuse
me, please!”, – said he. “Forgive me this time. I’ll never do such bad deeds
again. I simply would like to build such an impressive castle by myself. I
tried many times but in vain. Could you teach me to build such nice
castles?”
In the depth of his soul Monsterheart was a kind and responsive
creature. He helped Crabegg to build even the more majestic castle then
his one. His friends Baffoking and Bihorn were helping to build the castle, too.
And when a new castle was finished they continued to play peacefully on
a sandy beach all together.
Moral: Live in peace and understanding. It is better than revenge.

4TH CHAPTER

“Domenico Bevilacqua Tagliacozzo” 3rd B
While they were playing it was really hot and Monsterheart decided to take some fresh air and to take a bath. While he was in the sea he didn’t realize that he went too far and he wasn’t able to touch the ground anymore and he…. couldn’t swim!!! He started yelling. Not even his friends knew how to swim so Crabegg run into the sea and with his webbed paws, he swam really fast and so he managed to reach him. Thanks to his perfectly eggshaped body he could easily float and managed to take his friend safely back on the shore.

Monsterheart thanked him a lot and told him: “See Crabegg; you say you can’t build sand castles, but I can’t swim…”
Moral of this story: Diversity can be a help for the others, it’s a strength and it teams people up. Diversity is not an obstacle to life!

12

5th chapter: 7th primary school of Chios, Greece – 5th graders

They were playing happily together when Crabegg whispered “Everybody can do something different but no one is right or wrong” and Monsterheart added, “Together we are strong”.

“Hey!” said Baffoking, “ That sounds like a song!”

“You are right!” said Bihorn, “Let’s make a rap song!!”

“Friendship is our power, blooming like a flower” sang Monsterheart in rap rhythm.

“Friends forever playing along” sang Crabegg, and then all of them: “Fighting is so wrong.”

“Wow!!! We ‘ve made a song!”…and they all sang their rap song together.

Moral of this story: Together we can do things that it may be difficult to do alone!! It is better to work in a team, respect each other’s differences and abilities.

The Turkish version of Monsters have got talent.

Crabegg’in hikayesi

  • Συγχωρέστε με, είπε, συγχωρέστε με αυτή τη φορά. Δεν θα ξανακάνω ποτέ τέτοιες κακές πράξεις. Απλώς θα ήθελα να χτίσω κι εγώ ένα τόσο εντυπωσιακό κάστρο. Προσπάθησα πολλές φορές, αλλά μάταια. Θα μπορούσατε να με μάθετε να φτιάχνω τέτοια ωραία κάστρα;

The Italian version of Monsters has got talent.

The German version of the story translated by the students from Carpi, Italy, liceo “Mario Fanti”

Fritz is a young boy. He’s from Germany and is 15 years old

He wanted to come to Albania. But he did not know anything about this Balkan country. So he wanted to learn more about the culture of the country’s tourist sites and customs .

What decisions did the boy take?

He wrote some questions to peers in Albania

Emily is from Spain, she lives in Madrid and is 14 years old. She’s got long, brown hair and she’s got green eyes. She’s tall and slim and in general is really pretty. She’s easy-going and kind. She loves play basketball and she’s really good at it.

28
LET’S LEARN THINKING TOGETHER by Francesca Romana Antonini - Illustrated by The students of LLTT project - Ourboox.com

Fritz sent an e-mail to a girl from Albania; her name was Alisa  and she was 15 just like Fritz. This girl wasn’t very tall and she was slender, she had blue eyes and she was fair-haired. She was born in Albania and both her parents were Albanians, so she could help Fritz to find out more about the culture of that country. Alisa was kind and generous and she accepted to give Fritz some information.

(The answer of Alisa)
Dear Fritz, I hope you are fine.

I am Alisa and I learn at the “Kushtrimi i Lirise” school in Tirana, Albania. I am 15 years old and I learn two foreign languages in my school: English and French. Ich spreche auch ein bisschen Deutsch.Tell me what you want to know about my country. I can tell you interesting things about Albania.
Alisa

Dear Alisa, I’m very fine, thank you. Hope the same for you.

I’m glad to know you study two foreign languages, especially English: it will be easier to communicate. I’m very curious: what’s your favourite Albanian dish? I love talking about cooking! Can you send me some recipes? Anyway, I’m sure that also school is different over there: when does the lesson start and finish? Which subjects do you study? Is technology important during your lessons? Here in Germany we use computers and tablets to understand better what teachers explain to us.

I’ll be waiting for your answer! Bye bye Alisa,

Fritz

As we said previously, Fritz comes from Germany,he is 15 and he is  not very tall and  not very thin ,he is blond-haired , he’s got blue eyes, a round face and he has also freckles. He is  very sporty and he plays tennis. He is outgoing and he loves meeting new people, especially people that come from other countries. Last year, during a study holiday, he met a Chinese boy. His name is Tao and he is 15 too, He is short, a bit plump, he has got short and black hair and brown eyes. He is very kind, he loves sports too and they became immediately friends.

34

Sally is from New York, America, and she is 15 years old. She was also on that vacation holiday. She’s slim and on medium high, is blonde-haired and blue-eyed. She looks very attractive! Sally is very nice: is kind, generous, funny and brave. Her worse personality trait is that she’s quite selfish. But, a part from this, she’s very talkative and a bit crazy. Everybody likes her! Sally has also one passion: she loves dancing and when she dances, she looks like an angel.

When Fritz has seen her, he immediately fell in love and he wants to talk with her. When they have met at the school party, they became good friends.

THE MESSAGE OF HANS ON A WEBSITE OF KNOWING

Hi guys,

I’m Hans, I’m 15 years old and I live in Germany, but I’m moving to Albania next Monday. I’m small and a bit fat and for this everybody has a laugh of me. But I’m very kind and friendly. I want to change my life and to have more friends. I want that people in Albania know me for my personality and not for my physical appearance.

Would you be my friend?

Please, send me your personal e-mails so I can create a group and we can know each other better!

Daphne, Cloe, Tao, Sally, Emily, Alisa and Fritz liked the idea, and they all sent their emails to Hans. They immediately started to chat, and after few months they decided to meet in person.

They were so excited to finally see each other in real life that for the special event they prepared their own local dishes, for example: Fritz prepared a lot of bretzel and sausages, Daphne cooked many dishes of Boršč

, while Tao brought a lot of flying noodles.

They all decided to meet in Albania for summer holiday.

One day they met for lunch and they ate all the typical food they prepared. Now everybody knows Albanian’ s customs and traditions. Everyone was so happy and curious to know other countries’ traditions that they organised an another meeting but this time in Germany by Fritz’s house.

From that day the guys organized every year a meeting in a different country and other boys and girls joined the group.

MOR AND THE SMALL CHEETAH

Translation and artwork by Italy, Borgo Pineta primary school

Mor lived in the savannah, in a colourfull house.

Once he noticed a baby cheetah, sad and alone: he didn’t have the spots and felt diverse.

Therefore, Mor used his mother’s paint to draw the spots on the baby cheetah.

The baby cheetah was happy and hugged Mor who became happy and colourfull as his new friend.

Moral

When someone is in sad, you have to help him in any way.

60

LOLO AND RITA

Translation and artwork by Italy, Borgo Pineta primary school

Lolo and Rita are very diverse; Lolo is a woodlouse and Rita is a firefly.

He is great in disguising and she is great in sparkling.

They are aware to be different and maybe, for this reason, they like each other.

Nevertheless, they argue because they are envious of each other’s talent. Due to that, they are too sad.

Therefore, he decides to soften his shell….and she decides to slowly fly.

Eventually, they understand that they like each other a lot and they get on well together, even if very diverse.
